Black knobs or silver knobs, vote at the right~TIMES UP!~I kept the silver.

Our kitchen came with brushed silver cabinet knobs but I thought black swirl knobs would look better. I put the black knobs on and now I'm not so sure. I want to want the black knobs, so now I'm having a freakin hard time deciding! Help me out by voting. I'm not sure what color the kitchen will end up being because we started to paint it a butter yellow color but halfway through, I decided I want it to be more of a light sage green. I'm still undecided on that, and have been for about 2+ years now. Anyway, vote on the knobs and imagine the walls are butter yellow or light sage green.







In the last pic you can still see three silver knobs on the left side. Oops, I didn't order enough.

Wheeler's family cottage

I just found my favorite picture of my mom. She looks so beautiful and carefree. We were on vacation in upstate NY on Cayuga Lake at my husband's parents family cottage. Wheeler and I go almost every year and this picture was taken when my parents joined us a few years ago. I'll post a few more pics from our NY vacations, just for your enjoyment. Wheeler and I have so many valuable memories from trips to the cottage. Wheeler more so than me, considering he has been going there his entire life! His grandfather built the cottage and his mom has been going there her entire life too. It's so neat to see photo's of her as a baby on the island in front of the cottage. It really is a special place to our family.

Where does the time go?

Can you believe Monkeybutt is 6 now? Geeze, where does the time go? I was just thinking the other day about the fact that Wheeler and I have been married 13 years, it has gone so fast! In another 13 years I will be 48. What the heck!! When, how, why did I get so dang old?? I remember when I was in my early 20's and I really thought I would be that age forever. I mean I knew I would get older, but never as fast as it has happened!

Monkey's Birthday Party!

Okay, now that I have posted the Halloween photo's I can post Monkey's Birthday Party pictures! His party was so much fun! He had a turn out of 17 kids! What a popular boy! His theme was camouflage. Oh yea, and we cut his long lovely curls at his request! Anyway, here are some pics, Enjoy!

We just got back from Monkey's birthday party at Monkey Joes and everyone had a fantastic time! But before the cart gets ahead of the horse, I need to talk about Halloween! Monkey dressed in his camo flight suit and Sugarbutt was a Barbie cheerleader! Wheeler took them around the neighborhood with some other fellow dads who took Monkey's friends. The mom's (me, Barb & Jenn) stayed home and passed out candy to the trick or treaters.

Ready or not, here I blog...........

I've decided to start a new blog to keep our long distance friends and family updated in our day to day life! Sometimes it's just too hard to keep in close contact with everyone, we are all so busy with our lives! It seems like I talk to answering machines more than I talk to people! With so many of you, I'm playing phone tag all the time! The only person I get to talk to on a regular basis is my sister Leah. We both like to talk on the phone while cleaning, so what else would we do but talk to each other and get the job done!!

Wheeler has been traveling a lot, it's a busy time of year for him. We really enjoy it when he's home with us. He's still in bed right now at 10 am because it's his day to sleep in, lucky dog! Yesterday was mine, and it felt great!!

Sugarbutt is already 16 months old and talking a lot. She says things like, uh oh, What's that?, Thank you, Bye bye, and of course the usual, Mommy and Daddy. Oh yea, and she loves to dance! She is so precious and has such a sweet temperament. Unless you don't let her have something she wants, then WATCH OUT!

Monkey just turned SIX! He had a sleepover on his birthday and they had a great time! Today is his birthday party at Monkey Joes, an inflatable play place. I'll post some pics later today or tomorrow. He is so excited. He asked me to get him a pinata, which I did. Now he says he doesn't want anyone else to hit it, only him. Yea right, as if that's fair! His birthday party theme is Camouflage. I got Ethan a camo flight suit and he looks sooo cute in it! Sugarbutt and I will be wearing pink camo. Monkey is so full of energy, maybe he'll burn some of it off today at Monkey Joes! I think the only time he is sitting still is while he is sleeping!
