More photo's from Sugarbutt's Birthday!

I can only post five photo's at a time, so here are five more. Oh yea, Sugarbutt's Grandma made her dress!

Sugarbutt's 2nd Birthday!

We celebrated Sugar's 2nd birthday on Sunday and I can't believe my baby is already two! It was an unplanned celebration. I had planned to celebrate her party the following weekend because I figured everyone would be out of town for the 4th of July weekend. Of course I HAD to make her a cake on her birthday and so it turned into a bit of a celebration and she loved it!

4th of July fun!

We had a great time celebrating the 4th of July with our friends.

Recovered Photo's

A while ago I accidentally clicked format on my digital camera and I erased all of the images. I bought a program that allowed me to recover all of the photo's. I didn't think it would work, but it was worth a try, and guess what..........IT WORKED! Here are some photo's of Sugarbutt's first haircut.

Great group of moms!

I was just voted to be co-secretary of my Mom's Club Chapter and I'm very excited about it. I've made a lot of new friends through this club and I always have a blast around these women and their littles. I've put together a little slideshow from our last get together. Please feel free to leave comments so I know you stopped by! Enjoy!

Loser!

I have been horrible at keeping my blog up to date and I have excuses. I bet you thought I was going to say I have no excuses. Nope, I do have at least one excuse ~ I hate to upload photos to the computer! So here is my new plan. I will blog about what I want when I want and I'll upload photo's when I feel like it. There, I said it. A lot of people have been on my case about my lackadaisical attempt at blogging. Leave me be, I am who I am and you guys should all know that by now.

Okay, now for my title. Yes, I may be a loser in the real sense of the word, but I'm titling this loser because I'm losing weight! I started the South Beach Diet and I also started working out. I just started this on Wednesday May 14th. As of yesterday I already lost 5 lbs!! That was only 5 days after I started! Yeehaw! The best part is how easy this diet is. I'm not having any cravings, except for wine but that is my only weakness. I put a post on the South Beach web page and I'm going to copy and paste it here for you to read.

Here is my post:

Lost 5 lbs in 5 days!!! Down to 132!!! Yippie ki yea!

Okay, here's the sad part about losing weight. The ONLY thing that I liked more about my overweight body was my chest size. Of course, I was bigger in that area, and I wasn't complainin about that! I had hoped, and prayed, and begged to the Gods, and hoped some more that my chest would some how magically stay large. But no, the Gods did not answer my prayers ~ this morning after i weighed myself I told my husband how much I had already lost and do you want to know what he said? He said he had noticed! I was so flattered and excited that he could already tell! That is until he told me where he could see that I had lost weight. You guessed it, he could see that my boobs were smaller.

Breakfast ~ Light Spinach Frittata with Tomato Salsa (OMG this was good!!)

My husband (from now on, I'll just refer to him as Wheeler ~ This is the nick name my race car lovin brother-in-law gave him) Okay, so Wheeler is along for the ride on my diet regardless of if he wants to be or not. The reason for this is because as a stay at home wife/mother, I do all of the cooking, and I am far to lazy, I mean busy, to make him a separate meal, so he eats what I eat. I think I'm a pretty good cook but I don't usually do anything special to make my meals "pretty". Patience please, I'm getting to my point. Geeze. Okay, so my point is, all of the meals I'm making from the South Beach Diet meal plan are pretty. My husband says they look like they came from a fancy restaurant! Take for example the Light Spinach Frittata with Tomato Salsa, for some reason it looks like a chef in a restaurant made it! Sure, it was plain looking when it first came out of the oven, but once I added the beautiful salsa to it, it just sparkled! Thank you South Beach for turning me into a Chef!! Okay, let me get of my soap box and go do the stinkin dishes, because the reality is, I may be a Chef now, but I'm the maid too.

So there you have it. I'm stickin to this diet and will look like I'm 19 again if it kills me!
