Sugarbutt's ear is pierced!

Sugarbutt has been wanting to wear earrings for a long as she has been able to talk. I decided to do a little negotiating and told her she can get her ears pierced, but she will have to trade all of her Binky's for her earrings. She said yes, and we gathered up all of her Binky's to take with us to Claires! They were able to pierce both of her ears at the same time! Shgarbutt cried and said it hurt a little :(, but she was very excited when she looked in the mirror and saw her earrings. Unfortunately, one fell out the next day, and we couldn't get it back in. So now she has one pierced ear, but she is very happy with it! Every night when she goes to bed she says, "no more Binky". Worked like a charm. We will get the other ear re pierced in about 6 weeks.

Happy Easter!

We had a fantastic Easter! This year I bought prepackaged baskets for the kids and what a deal! I added a few extra items, to make them really special. Monkey and Sugarbutt were so excited.
Monkey tried testing me by saying that the Easter Bunny isn't real. He said it in statement form, but I know he was testing me. He's a smart one! I easily convinced him that the Easter Bunny is real. He has a boy in his class who's parents have already told him that Santa and the Easter Bunny, etc. are not real. Of course this boy is telling everyone abot this fact. He even told me one day, to which I replied that we believe they are real. I sure didn't expect Ethan to question these things this early.
Sugarbutt was funny because she was scared that the Easterbunny was coming into our house while she was sleeping. She sure was glad he came when she woke up!
